This year, the Mizoram 10th Board Exam was conducted in the month of March. The examination began on March 2 with English language paper and concluded with Social Science Paper on March 18. Mizoram High School Leaving Certificate Practical exam for Science / IT and Home Science subjects was held from 21st to 23rd of March. Since the completion of MBSE Exams, students have been waiting with bated breath for the declaration of Mizoram HSLC Result 2016.
Students can follow the simple steps given below, to check their MBSE HSLC Result 2016:
1. Visit the official website of MBSE
2. Click on the results link on the website
3. Submit your Roll number and other required details in the form
Click on ‘GO’
4. Your result will be displayed on the screen
Keeping up its promise of bringing out the Mizoram HSLC Result 2016 on time, the MBSE has declared April 28 as the probable date for the result. Last year, the Mizoram HSLC Exam Result 2015 was declared on 29th April. Last year, the 17,157 candidates had appeared for the MBSE HSLC Exam, including 8,870 girls and 8,287 boys. Of the total number of appearing candidates, 68.30% or 11,719 managed to clear the exam with flying colours. Ditching the national trend, boys managed to edge past the girls in Mizoram Board HSLC Result, last year. The respective pass percentages for girls and boys were 68.44% and 68.17%.
Last year, the Mizoram High School Leaving Certificate Exam was topped by Jennifer Vanrammawii from Baptist Higher Secondary, Serkawn, Lunglei. In all, 595 students managed to secure distinction, 2100 cleared the exam in first division, 3505 in second division and 5519 in third division. Compartmental chances were given to 314 candidates while 5125 candidates failed.
Considering the increased student participation in this year’s board exam, the MBSE is anticipating a significant growth in the overall pass percentage for MBSE HSLC Result 2016.

The Board was setup in 1975 under the Mizoram Board of School Education Act. As part of its responsibilities, the Mizoram Board conducts state-level High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations.
