Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations conducted the ICSE & ISC examination for class 10th & 12th respectively. Students in huge number appeared for the examinations conducted in the month of February-March & now are eagerly waiting for their result. To be precise, examinations began from February 29th & were concluded onl 31st of March, 2016. For ICSE subjects include: English, History & Civics, Geography, Mathematics, Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Agricultural Science, Commercial Studies, Technical Drawing, A Modern Foreign Language, A Classical Language and Indian Language. Whereas ISC examinations were conducted from February 8 to April 8 for the respective streams. CISCE will declare the ICSE & ISC results today 6 May 2016 at 3.00 PM IST on the main official website of the board & will also be hosted here on this webpage.
Regarding the same, Gerry Arathoon the chief executive & secretary of the ICSE council stated that “The council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) is the first board in the world to introduce LICR (Live Ink Character Recognition) technology which captures & digitizes marks written on the top-sheet of every answer-sheet and instantly transfers this data from the evaluation centres to CISCE’s cloud-based servers, saving a lot of time. He further stated this way – “The hard work and the unflinching commitment of the staff of the Council along with the new LICR technology had helped us to publish the results two weeks earlier as compared to the previous years. This will help our students to seek admission to institutions for higher studies.”

ICSE Class 10th & ISC Class 12th Results Declared
This year 1,58,833 candidates appeared for ICSE class 10th examination, which includes 88,209 boys and 70,624 girls. In 2015, the pass percentage for ICSE exam was 98.54%. A total of 71,141 candidates had appeared for the Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination including 38,659 boys & 32,482 girls. These examinations were held between 8th February 2016 to 8th April 2016. Every year there is an increase in the pass percentage as compared to the previous year’s results, it clearly states that passing percentage is increasing every year by 2 to 3%. In the results, Girls are always ahead of boys in terms of pass percentage. But in the year 2014, there was a dip by 2% in the girls pass out percentage as compared to boys.
