Essential Qualification:
For Postman and Mail Guard:
Interested candidates for post of Postman and Mail Guard should possess Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or University.
For Doctors:
For post of Doctor, willing candidates should have Degree of MBBS in concern field from recognized institution or university.

Salary Details for India Post Office Recruitment
:
For Postman and Mail Guard posts, aspirants will be given Rs. 21,700 – 69,100/- per month and for post of Doctors Rs. 60000/- per month as salary. Candidates may also admissible for other allowances as per rules of organization.
Age Limit for India Post Office Jobs:
Age of appliers should not be below 18 years and more than 27 years for Postman and Mail Guard. Upper age limit will be relaxed for SC/ ST candidate upto 5 years and for OBC upto 3 years. PH category candidates may get relaxation in age upto 10 years.
Application Fee:
  • Aspirants need to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee for Postman and Mail Guard posts. Along with application fee, aspirants need to pay Rs. 400/- as examination fee for General and OBC categories.
  • The fees are payable in cash through Post Offices having e-payment facility. Fee should be paid only within 3 days from the closing date of online registration.
Selection Process:
For Postman and Mail Guard:
Selection of applying candidates will be done for Indian Post Office Jobs according to their performance in Aptitude Test (Multiple Choice Questions). Centers of exam are Trivandrum, Ernakulam Kozhikode, Palakkad and Kottayam.
For Doctors:
Selection of talented individuals will be done according to performance of appliers in interview and preceding qualification and experience.
How to fill India Post Office Application Form?
For Postman and Mail Guard:
  • Interested candidates for India Post Office Careers 2017 please visit the official portal that is www.keralapost.gov.in.
  • Choose ‘Careers’ tab from left side and follow ‘Postman / Mail guard examination 2017’ notification.
  • Select link ‘here to Apply’ and press ‘apply’ link under ‘New Registration’ column.
  • Now fill your registration form with required information and press link that is given under ‘Already Registered User’ that is ‘to Login’.
  • Fill online application form and upload copies of all required documents and certificates like passport size photo and signature etc.
  • Submit your application and take print out of it for future use.
  • For India Post Office Recruitment, pay your application fee through proper channel as mentioned above.

For Doctors:
  • For India Post Office Postman Recruitment, first of all, willing contenders must have to visit the official portal of organization i.e. www.indiapost.gov.in
  • Then go to the bottom section of home page and then hit on “Opportunities” option.
  • Now aspirants are required to press on “Notification for Engagement of Doctors on contract basis in Postal Dispensaries of Jalpaiguri and Siliguri” Link.
  • After that, a notification will be appear on the screen.
  • Aspirants must go through the complete details mentioned in the notification.
  • Thereafter download the application format which is attached with notification.
  • Now Fill your details in this form in correct and complete manner.
  • You need to attach attested photocopies of documents in support of qualification, caste certificate etc .
  • Envelope containing application should be super scribed with “Application for Engagement of Doctors on Contract Basis”.
  • Finally, send this complete form to the address mentioned below through speed post.
